MUST WATCH: Denmark wants to send refugees to this remote island where contagious animal diseases are studied

Copenhagen- Denmark is planning to send ‘unwanted’ refugees to a remote island, Lindholm Island. It currently houses a laboratory, that is used to study contagious animal diseases and it was once a crematorium for dead animals.

The facility is due to open in 2021. Approximately 100 refugees and asylum seekers who can not be legally departed will be send there.
