No coalition talks between DA, ANC

Johannesburg – The African National Congress (ANC) has opened the door to forming coalitions in municipalities it failed to secure a majority but the party’s head of elections Fikile Mbalula said the ANC has not begun any coalition talks with the Democratic Alliance (DA).

Mbalula said the DA is ANC’s main opponent, and the two parties ware not likely to enter into a coalition.

Meanwhile, DA leader John Steenhuisen said his party will no be going into a coalition with the ANC.
