Orlando Pirates coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic told reporters that he and the club members will not disclose the reason one of the team players Thamsanqa Gabuza did not attend the match Orlando Pirates had against Cape Town the past Tuesday.
This coach was quoted on TimesLive saying that some things are meant to be kept between the team away from the public. But the coach did admit that was an issue with Gabuza, but they still will not tell people why he was never part of the squad on Tuesday. The coach went on to say that the only thing they can reveal to the public is Gabuza has been out of the team for reasons known to them which they do not want to reveal to the public yet. However the team and the coach will see what will happen, whether he will be available to play against Bidvest Wits in their upcoming game or not.
The team’s next test will be against Bidvest Wits. Bidvest Wits will be defending team who also struggled so far in this new campaign. Thabo Qalinga was able to help the team on Tuesday as they move up to the Premiership summit after five games.
