Orlando Pirates key player suspended by PSL

Orlando Pirates will have to challenge Stellenbosc FCS undefeated PSL run without the services of yet another suspended player.

Abel Mabaso will miss the game against Stellies after picking up a yellow card against golden Arrows.

It was his third in the season which means he will have to serve a one-match suspension for the Buccaneers. Mabaso has been an instrumental part of Mandla Ncikazi’s squad this season.

He has featured in both the midfield and defence as a regular starter for the Bucs in this year’s DStv Premiership. However, there is good news for Pirates who finally welcomed two key players back this week.

Mabaso will return to PSL when the Soweto giants host Baroka FC at the Orlando Stadium on December 1.

He is also set to make an appearance in his side’s CAF Confederation Cup match away against Liberian side LPRC Oilers on Sunday, November 28.
