
Porsche celebrating its 70th anniversary and they decided to reward themselves an amazing present the 911 Speedster Concept.
The unique model draws inspiration from the very first Porsche 356 ‘No. 1’ Roadster in 1948.
The inspiration form the model comes from their current GT models and the model was made at Porsche Motorsport Centre.
According to Porsche, “The concept study offers a glimpse of a potential series-production version, although this model may not be presented until 2019. A decision on whether to move ahead will be made in the coming months.”
The model is a six-cylinder flat engine in this minimalist concept study delivers “over 500hp and reaches speeds of up to 9000rpm.”
911 Speedster Concept characteristics include a shorter window frame, meaning it has an
more inclined windscreen and correspondingly shortened side-windows, similar to its predecessors such as the Porsche 356 1500 Speedster.
The full bucket seats are made of carbon-fibre.
