Pogba “doubtful” against Everton – Mourinho

The Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is doubtful that Paul Pogba will recover in time to face Everton on Sunday.
The Frenchman appeared to have sustained a hamstring injury in a Champions League victory over Basel on Tuesday.
Pogba only lasted a handful of minutes in the game before he left the field limping and replaced by Marouane Fellaini, who went on to open the scoring in a 3-0 victory for the hosts.
Full medical reports about the severity of the injury are yet to be determined but Mourinho was quick to point out other options should the French star fail to recover on time.
“Squads are for this, squads are for injuries, squads are for suspensions. We don’t cry with injuries. So if no Paul for Sunday, we have Herrera, we have Carrick, we have Fellaini and we have Matic,” Mourinho said.
“I just know from experience it’s a muscular injury. In my experience, muscular injury stops you from playing for a few weeks, I think,” added the Portuguese.
Mourinho pointed out that he will not take any risks for playing the French star whilst he has not fully recovered from his injury.
The Red Devils are set to continue their fine premier league form at home to Everton even without their key man.
