President to receive Part 3 of State Capture Report

Johannesburg – The Presidency is expected to receive the third part of the state capture inquiry report on Monday.

It was initially meant to be the official report, but, the commission was granted an extension. The final report will now be handed over at the end of April.

Acting Chief Justice Raymond Zondo said the inquiry still had to finalise some documents. He also said he had to take time away to prepare for the Chief Justice interviews.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has already received the first two parts of the report.

The first two parts  are concerned with SARS, SAA, and the Gupta-linked New Age newspaper.

The report already runs into 3,000 pages of detailed analysis of evidence, findings and recommendations.
