DURBAN – UPDATE: A 60 year old grandfather was allegedly robbed by a prostitute in Verulam, the north of Durban early on Monday morning. Spokesperson of the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA), Prem Balram, said the grandfather who engaged the services of a prostitute was robbed. The incident took place near the graveyard on Wick Street in the Verulam area.
“At approximately 10:35 (Monday) the elderly male arrived at the RUSA offices seeking assistance. He informed officers that whilst at a local bar, he was approached by a woman who offered him oral sex for R40. The man then followed the woman to a vacant property that is close to the graveyard.
He then paid her R40. The man explained that when he removed his pants, a second woman approached him. Both the women then attacked him and removed his cash. They then fled,” Balram said.
Balram said the two women were later seen buying lunch at a nearby Verulam bus rank. The members of Reaction Unit South Africa searched the area but no arrests have been made.
The grandfather says the one female wore a scarf over her head and the other woman had purple hair. He did not have any further descriptions of the two suspects. RUSA is still searching for the women.
