Robert De Niro and Grace Hightower ‘split after two decades of marriage’

New York- Actor Robert De Niro and his wife Grace Hightower have reportedly split up after three decades together and 20 years of marriage.

According to a New York Post’s Page Six column, De Niro and Hightower have split and the break up is expected to be announced in a statement in the next coming weeks.

A source told the column, “They are not living together at this time.”

People magazine quoted a sourced, which said, “Sometimes things don’t work out the way you hope or want them to.”

Robert and Grace married in 1997 after 10 years of dating. In 1999 the couple went through a rough patch, with De Niro even filing for divorce but later retracted.

The couple has been very private about their relationship, but they have been outspoken about their son’s autism, which they believe is linked to vaccinations.

Grace explained that their teenager “changed overnight” after being vaccinated as a child, Robert said; “The vaccines are dangerous to certain people who are more susceptible.

“Nobody seems to want to address that, or they say they’ve addressed it and it’s a closed issue but it doesn’t seem to be. There are many people who will come out and say I saw my kid change overnight. I saw what happened, I should have done something and I didn’t. There’s more to this than meets the eye, believe me.”
