SA Investment Conference: Impressive pledges, SA waits for jobs

Johannesburg – President Cyril Ramaphosa says the country has reached 95% of R1.2 trillion investment target set four years ago.

Investors at the latest investment conference pledged billions in offerings, from mining and agriculture to the creative arts.

Some say the overall long term investment in the economy remains too low to meaningfully tackle unemployment.
