Johannesburg – South African Breweries (SAB) is set to resume investment in South Africa.
In the last year, the brewer halted R5-billion worth of investments in the country due to multiple alcohol bans related to the Covid-19 lockdown.
SAB will now be pumping R2-billion into several local projects set to be completed next year.
They plan to channel the funding to several upgrades at its operating facilities and product innovation.
The company said it is encouraged by the government latest approach to the control of alcohol sales.
