
Johannesburg -October marks five years since the start of the Fees Must Fall protests and it seems the students who were struggling then, are still going through the struggle now.
Sasco said it wants TVET colleges revamped.
The student body is planning a march to the Union Buildings to demand that President Cyril Ramaphosa steps in.
Sasco president Bamanye Matiwane said: “We have identified slow delivery of certificates and diplomas, failure of lecturers to translate theory into practical study due to their inexperience”.
The body said it is high time TVET colleges are viewed as institutions of choice.
