The South African Weather Services (SAWS) has been giving South Africans preparing them for this week’s weather conditions.
They sent alerts from yesterday in the late afternoon warning residents in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Gauteng, Limpopo and Mpumalanga warning people in the above mentioned provinces about the heavy rains that will affect them.
According to SAWS bad weather conditions starting from today. Their report states that an intense cut-off low system is expected to affect some parts of the eastern parts of the Western Cape and the south-east of the Northern Cape.
From Tuesday the 10th of October these weather conditions are expected to affect the Eastern Cape and Kwa-Zulu Natal. The report also went on to say very cold conditions are expected to be high in the Eastern Cape and the Northern Cape today and spread out to Kwa-Zulu Natal tomorrow.
They also issued alerts to people who are in Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Kwa-Zulu Natal about heavy rain that will start this morning at Western Cape and Eastern Cape and spread to Kwa-Zulu Natal tomorrow on the 10th of October. Some provinces in the country can expect heavy rain from today.
There’s a 60% chance of rain expected in some that will be cleared tomorrow morning.
