Johannesburg – Search and recovery operations are continuing in parts of Durban.
A week ago in Umlazi members of the community had to assist the young and old across non-existent roads.
Most of the infrastructure in the area was washed away by the floods.
Meanwhile, KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala says the province is working around the clock to bring swift relief to those affected by the floods.
Zikalala said the province is still waiting for money from the National Treasury to help rebuild.
