Johannesburg – Idols SA 2015 winner Karabo Mogane has taken a new direction that is influenced by his love for radio and music. This 26 year old transformed from pop singer to radio.
Karabo told the media that he will be hosting an afternoon Sunday show on UJFM. It will be a 4 hour show starting from 2pm to 6pm.
According to Karabo his love for radio and music is not the only thing that has influenced him into taking a new direction.
He says he has been told many times that he has a voice for radio but it is mostly because he wants to interact with people.
“I’ve always loved radio and people close to me had always told me to consider a career on radio because I have a voice for it. I love the vibe and being able to interact with people and playing good music consistently,” he said.
He also went on to say he always dreamed of being on radio but he didn’t expect to land a job so soon. He just wants to do what he loves, have fun and interact with people. He also said he is grateful for the opportunity.
