Johannesburg – Police Minister Bheki Cele declined to comment on a report regarding a gun allegedly linked to the murder of Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa.
News24 reported that police have identified a man – who is in jail on charges of killing a Johannesburg taxi boss – using the same gun.
“The gun found shouldn’t make news, it should finalise and resolve the case,” said Cele.
“I heard that it is leaked, how do you expect the minister to answer on leaked issues?
“I will leave them leaked. I will answer when I make statements and make an announcement.”
