Senzo Meyiwa Murder Case back in the Spotlight

JOHANNESBURG- With mounting pressure and public attention back on the Senzo Meyiwa murder case, Longwe Twala has finally spoken out publicly, denying he was involved in the murder robbery case, as he was present that fatal night.

Senzo Meyiwa a former Bafana Bafana captain and goalkeeper, was shot and killed in October 2014 in the presence of his singer girlfriend Kelly Khumalo and friend Longwe Twala. The police still have not find the three suspects who were involved.

The case has returned to the spotlight after social media account  Advocate Barry Roux, a parody account, had claimed the police knew the suspects and the killer, and are not doing anything because they are being intimated by one of the suspects father not to act.

Longwe Twala did a radio interview with Metro FM to clear his name, after he was ‘implicated’ from the Twitter account accusations, allegedly changing his story and knowing the actual events of that night. The allegations and details from the Twitter account have not been verified or sourced. The interview has led to more questions then answers.
