JOHANNESBURG – Shashi Naidoo has reportedly received death threats over comments she made about Gaza on social media.
Over the weekend the model made comments where she posted a photograph of her in Israel with DJ Black Coffee on Instagram. A follower respond calling out the DJ for performing in Israel, Naidoo responded calling Gaza area in Palestine a “sh**hole”, and accused Gazans of trying to “annihilate Israel”.
In recent months 129 Palestinians have been killed by Isareli fire during the protests near the Gaza border which started in March. No Israelis have died. \
The model received strong criticisms after her comments and deleted the comments have the screen grab of the conversation has circulated online.

She issued an apology after the backlash.
