VAAL- BET Award winning artist Sjava has apologised to fans after they got injured during a stampede at a performance at the Vaal on Saturday.
Sjava was sent to perform on stage but excited fans mobbed him, as many were injured during the frenzy.
He took to Twitter to apologise for the incident.
He said, “I had a great time and sorry to everyone that got hurt coz of the stampede when I leave the house to go perform my plan is to make people happy not ukuthi balimale ngiyaxolisa kakhulu (for them to get hurt, therefore I am very sorry) I understand people show love kodwa asingalimazani (but let’s not hurt each other) guys.”
Sjava has received overwhelming love and support after winning a BET Award in Los Angeles and coming back home with a heroes welcome at OR Tambo International Airport last week.
