LESOTHO- On Monday light flurries of snow were reported on Monday at the Afriski mountain resort in the northern highlands in Lesotho.
The resort tweeted photographs‚ adding that roads were open for the time being.

There has been light snowfalls leading to the resort on the road.

The South African Weather Service issued an alert early on Monday for severe thunderstorms expected over the extreme north-eastern parts of the Eastern Cape towards the Lesotho border.
