SONA debate: Pandor defends SA’s R50m aid to Cuba

Johannesburg – International Relations Minister Naledi Pandor is defending South Africa’s donation of R50 million to Cuba.

The aid was questioned by the Freedom Front Plus’ Pieter Groenewald.

The minister reminded Groenewald that Cubans supported the country’s struggle against Apartheid.

Members of Parliament gathered in the Cape Town City Hall on Monday to debate the president’s take on the country’s priorities.
