Flemming Berg, a former Danish Football Union talent development manager was welcomed to Chloorkop on Monday. Berg will become the Sporting Director at Sundowns, seemingly from this month onwards.
The 49-year-old Dane has been heavily involved with developing talent for the Danish national teams since 2015 and has received wide acclaim for his exploits with the Danish FA.
A Danish publication previously indicated Berg will be assessing the Mamelodi Sundowns squad and looking for areas with room for improvement.
The news of Berg’s departure was confirmed by Danish Football Union in an official statement.
