Pretoria – Fearing for their lives. That is how taxi drivers are feeling.
This comes after two drivers were shot and killed in full view of passengers recently.
The SA National Taxi Council said this brings the number of taxi operator murders in the last six months to 13.
The council has now launched a ‘peace force’ team in an attempt to end the killings.
Santaco said it has picked up a trend where drivers are being targeted at taxi ranks.
