Title is in our hands- Sundowns Coach

CAPE TOWN- Pitso Mosimane, Mamelodi Sundowns coach has revealed that his team are  have the Absa premier league title in their hands and that he enjoys being on top of the league despite the constant pressure.

The team leads the league by four points with Kazier chiefs being in the second spot, but the log leaders have a game in hand.

The Sundowns coach is well aware of the pressures of being on top and everybody else wanting them to fail, but says the current position is always best,

“It (being on top) is an advantage because you are on top and you have points. When you are on top everybody wants to shoot at you,” said Mosimane, as quoted by Kickoff.

“Somewhere, somehow we have a feeling that when we play everybody wants us to drop points. (But) I would not want to be in another position. If you asked me would I like to swap positions? Would I rather be five points behind with 10 games to go or I’d like to have five points with 10 games to go? I want the five points, I would like to be where I am. How do I know those people will lose the next three or four games?

“Yes, the pressure is there [at the top], which is okay, but it’s in our hands. We don’t want favours, not now.”
