Tottenham has offered a new contract to the son of former manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Maurizio Pochettino, 19, joined the Spurs academy in 2017 when his father was still in charge but is yet to make a senior appearance for the club.
Maurizio signed a new deal with the club in July of last year after being part of the U 18 Premier League and is currently under contract until June 30.
The Premier League, on Friday, released a club-by-club list of retained players for the 2019-2020 season, which revealed Maurizio had been offered another new deal at Spurs – despite his father’s departure from the club.
Mauricio Pochettino was asked by Tottenham in November after five years in charge, with five years in charge 14th in the Premier League table.
He was replaced by Jose Mourinho who has since guided Spurs to seventh and their next face Sheffield United on July 2.
