
CAPE TOWN- AB De Villiers announced on Wednesday that he was retiring from all international cricket which shocked many in the cricketing world and sport fans in general.
His retirement is with immediate effect, de Villiers who is 34 cited that he was “tired” and that it was the right time to call the end of his 14 year career.
He will go down as one of the greatest batsmen ever produced by South Africa.
De Villiers represented his country in 114 Tests, 228 One-Day Internationals (ODI) and 78 T20 Internationals.
