Twitter users defend Simphiwe Ngema against online haters’

Johannesburg – Mzansi defended Simphiwe ‘Simz’ Ngema against cyberbullies following her recent pregnancy announcement.

The former “Muvhango” actress recently announced that she is expecting her first child with model and television personality Tino Chinyani.

Ngema showed her baby bump for the first time on social media, expressing her joy for her new journey to motherhood. Ngema said:  “Indeed there is a God in heaven. He wiped away my tears and gave me joy in abundance. You’ve brought hope and purpose to my life.”

The news of her pregnancy was received with mixed emotions on social media with many celebrating the couple’s love and their unborn child, while others attacked her for moving in so quickly.

It’s been three years since her husband Dumi Masilela dies after he was shot in an attempted hijacking in 2017.

“Because Joy comes in the morning. I’m gonna sit here and let the sun shine on my face for a moment. Thank you for all the well wishes🙏🏽 There is a God in heaven.”

In spite of the hateful comments, many continue to show love to Ngema and Chinyani.
