Johannesburg – Clover is expected to meet with representative unions on Friday.
Workers have been striking since November over job and wage cuts.
On Thursday they staged a protest outside the Israeli trade office in Sandton. They are demanding the reversal of the merger between Clover and Israeli company Milco.
General Industries Workers Union of SA President Mametlwe Sebei believes the meeting will be meaningful.
“All of those issues are on the table, they are going to be debated,” Sebei said.
