PRETORIA- The former commissioner, his wife Brigadier Beauty Phahlane and business Durand Synman appeared at the Special Commercialized Courts for alleged fraud and money laundering charges. The charges stem from alleged kickbacks Phalane’s received from businessman Synman and others for awarding lucrative tender deals, whilst Kgomotso Phahlane was head of the forensic division.
Each of the accused were granted R10 000 bail on Thursday.
