JOHANNESBURG- Suspect at the shooting that took place at Randburg area near Multichoice was a cash in transit heist.
The suspect is seen in video trying to get in a getaway as he was bleeding from his wounds, he later died from his injuries.
The video shows the man carrying a gun shooting at security guards, he is then seen falling to the ground as he tries to get in the moving white car.
Police have now confirmed that 20 suspects in three vehicles targeted a coin cash van and a shootout erupted with the security guards.
The guards shot one gunman, the rest managed to flee with an undisclosed amount.
Roads have been closed, as investigations continue.
The shooting did happen near a nursery school, which was situated across the road and near Dstv main offices.
