US Election: Winner will have to deal with a divided nation

America is a nation divided. Whoever wins the elections will have to deal with many unhappy opposition voters.

This is according to the Wits School of Governance’s Anthoni van Niewkerk, who says this will have an impact on global politics.

“Regardless of who wins the election, Biden will have to deal with a large group of disgruntled Trump supporters. Trump will have to deal with people who find him distasteful,” said van Niewkerk.

President Donald Trump is trailing when it comes to the electoral college. But he has the lead in several swing states.

Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden says his supporters must wait until every vote has been counted.
