US rappers XXXTentacion killed at 20 and Jimmy Wopo also killed in separate shootings

FLORIDA- Upcoming rappers XXXTentacion and Jimmy Wapo were both killed in separate shootings on Monday, confirming the incidents one in Florida and the other in Pittsburg authorities said both were pronounced dead.

In Florida rapper known by XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfro was killed in what was an apparent robbery in Miami, Florida and was pronounced dead by the sheriff’s department.

In a tweet, the sheriff’s department Bronwry County wrote, “The adult male victim has been confirmed as 20-year-old Jahseh Onfroy, aka rapper #XXXTentacion,”

Media reports differ on the incident, CNN has reported that Onfro was leaving a leaving a shop on Monday afternoon (American time) when two men in a SUV shot and killed him in an apparent robbery. Other media reports say the rapper was shot while leaving a motor sports dealership in Deerfield Beach, about 40 miles (64km) north of Miami and then robbed.

Investigators although have said that two men fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV after one of them opened fire, a bullet striked the rapper in what the appeared to be a possible robbery.

In the second incident where a rapper was killed, Jimmy Wapo died after a double shooting in Pittsburgh but details of the shooting are still unknown. But manager for Wapo wrote on Facebook post, ” I lost my brother today and it’s the worst feeling in the world. He was destined for greatness and he wanted the best for his friends, family and community.”

Wapo real name Travon Smart was considered a rising star in the state and appeared in the Elm Street Music video which has over 6 million views.

The incident of Onfroy, there are some reports have footage allegedly of the rapper slumped in the car surfaced online and has been condemned as the social media culture where people reach for their phones first instead of helping a person in need first.
