Johannesburg – Uzalo actor Thobani Nzuza is living in fear for his life after a popular music manager hired hitmen to kill him. So serious are there threats that the actor has cried for help on social media and even begged police minister Bheki Cele to intervene.
Nzuza alleges that he has been receiving death threats from a woman and there have been antagonising incidents that have left him fearing for his life.
In a video shared on social media, Nzuza says the woman, only known as Sanelisiwe, claims to be very connected and she is not scared of anyone.
Nzuza says he has tried getting a protection order in Randburg but has failed. The police said they could not help because of the national lockdown. He says the woman claimed to have a lot of money and that is why the law has failed him. The threats have been going on since February 2020.
