Vavi: Workers are being exploited

Johannesburg – Mining bosses should not be paying themselves millions while refusing to improve the wages of ordinary workers.

That is the assertion of Saftu General Secretary Zwelinzima Vavi.

Vavi said mining companies are exploiting black workers.

He said the cost of living in South Africa is soaring and workers have the right to be given a fair increase in order to afford the basics.
