JOHANNESBURG – A video has gone viral of musician Babes Wodumo (real name Bongekile Simelane) furiously swearing and screaming at a woman at an airport.

Hours after releasing the video Babes said she is also human, even being a celebrity does not mean she does’t have feelings and emotions.
We are all humans…Being a celeb doesn’t mean I’m an animal I have feelings,emotions,a heart etc..Let me be!!! pic.twitter.com/Ywr6HV5mtI

The video has divided social media, on one side some say the woman was not racist but on the other side, some say Babes reaction was justified.
White women in South Africa are extremely rude, entitled and disrespectful. Babes Wodumo had to do what she had to do and that was the right thing.

That Babes Wodumo video is the most childish thing I've seen in a while. The continuous calling of the white lady a racist is also concerning. How do we know she is racist?

Black people saying a white woman shoooing Babes Wodumo is not racism shows how much we don’t understand what racism is. It’s not necessarily the words, but the condescending tone that comes with the words. And any insult to a black person from a white person qualifies as racism

We are reaching with this racist thing now. Yes the woman was disrespectful towards Babes Wodumo but calling her a racist is going over board.
