
JOHANNESBURG- All witnesses that have testified at Sandile Mantsoe’s murder trial have so far dismissed his claim that his girlfriend Karabo Mokoena committed suicide.
The state has called so far three witnesses to testify out of the 19 listed.
Mantsoe whose accused of the murder of his 22-year-old girlfriend last year, by burning her body and dumping it in a veld in Lyndhurst.
Mokoena’s older sister Bontle on Tuesday and her friend Puleng Mthethwa took the witness stand, they described Mokoena as positive person, particularly the future after her break up with Mantsoe.
When Bontle was asked if her sister had any signs of being suicidal, she denied this, saying her sister had no reason to try to kill herself.
She also told the court about the last conversation she had with her sister, she said Mokoena was excited about life and reiterated that she did not want to kill herself.

Mhlongo: When we got to the Sandton Skye, Sandile was not there. We asked the manager to call and ask him when he would be back. He said he would arrive at 9PM.
