Kitwe- Police have said that 10 subistence miners have been killed after a mine dump collapse in the second largest cityu in Zambia, Kitwe and is a copperbelt mining hub.
Copperbelt province police commissioner Charity Katanga is quoted by AFP news agency as saying, “So far we have retrieved 10 dead bodies and seven bodies of those injured.”
According to Zambian Watchdog a news site, have reported that more than 20 young miners are feared dead.
They added others miners assaulted people taking photos of the scene.
