Chiinda Endorses Makebi Zulu, Urges Munali Residents to Unite in Support

PF Pamodzi Alliance Munali parliamentary candidate Chrispin Chiinda has thrown his weight behind lawyer Makebi Zulu in the race for the presidency ahead of the August 13, 2026 general elections.

In a statement, Chiinda called on Munali residents to consolidate their support for Zulu, saying the endorsement reflects a common vision for Zambia’s future.

He described Zulu as a “proud son of Munali,” pointing to his deep roots in the constituency as a major factor behind his backing.
Chiinda also highlighted Zulu’s experience, noting that the Lusaka-based lawyer and former Cabinet minister served as Eastern Province Minister under Edgar Lungu from 2016 to 2021.

According to Chiinda, Zulu’s leadership background and understanding of everyday community issues—ranging from markets and schools to drainage infrastructure—position him well to tackle both local and national challenges.

Zulu officially entered the presidential race in March 2026, campaigning on key pillars such as constitutional governance, economic revival, and youth empowerment.

Chiinda further emphasized that voters in Munali are seeking leaders who are accessible and in touch with their daily struggles, expressing confidence that Zulu meets those expectations.

Zambians are set to go to the polls on August 13, 2026 to elect a President, Members of Parliament, and local government representatives.
